Resident of the Month: Beatrice S.
Beatrice was born and raised in Red Springs, North Carolina. As a young adult she and her husband, Ray Stanley, moved to Philadelphia with their young children approximately 64 years ago. Beatrice has 6 living children, 9 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family and playing games, especially checkers. Beatrice also enjoys bible study. One of her favorite bible verses is Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
