Brookside Healthcare offers the following services: long and short term skilled nursing care, short term rehab care, short term respite care, comprehensive wound care program, hospice care, dementia care and behavior management.

NURSING CARE
We provide 24 hour a day nursing care delivered by licensed professional nurses and certified nursing assistants. The Nursing Department is lead by a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and unit based managers. Brookside Healthcare also provides Restorative Nursing Services under the direction of certified nursing assistants. The Restorative Nursing Program is offered seven days per week. The nursing department strives to provide a minimum of 3.2 nursing care hours per resident per day.

REHAB SERVICES
The foundation of our rehabilitation program is an interdisciplinary team of professionals focusing on the individual resident's needs in a state of the art therapy room. The goal of our Rehab program is to help residents reach their maximum potential and return home to a more independent lifestyle. We have a newly renovated Therapy Gym with new state of the art equipment. Licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists are dedicated to helping residents progress toward recovery.

BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT
Brookside provides a full array of behavior health services with a fulltime clinician on staff. This includes assessment and treatment of residents with dementia, mood and emotional disorders. We have a Dementia Unit and residents have access to both psychological and psychiatric services on site.

ACTIVITIES
The goal of our Activities Department is to provide individualized programs that enable residents to live meaningful and exciting social lives. Under the direction of a Certified Activity Professional, a wide range of programs based on the interests, levels, and abilities of our residents are planned seven days per week with weekly community outings. Live entertainment, educators, and persons from various religious organizations visit the facility regularly. We encourage family involvement by offering special events and holiday celebrations. We also offer specialized programs for dementia and Alzheimer residents.

AMENITIES
Each resident has their own remote control wall mounted flat screen television and speakers with headphone capability. Electric beds with beautifully sculpted wooden headboards and personalized comfort settings are provided to each resident. And at a small cost, we also offer cable television, telephone, laundry, and Beautician/Barber services.

OTHER SERVICES
In addition to the services described above: residents have access to social workers, a dietitian, podiatrists, dentists and optometrists on site.

SECURITY
We have a Wanderguard System and State of the Art Video Surveillance System.
